Explanation of Microban
Hot or warmer water temperatures and a wet environment are perfect combinations for an unprotected filter cartridge surface to develop and breed bacteria growth. Anti-Microbial, anti-bacterial protection is placed “inside” the polyester fibers of the pool filter cartridge material during production to inhibit the growth of bacteria and other living micro-organisms. These can cause stains, odors and degradation of the filter surface.

Your pool or spa water will have a much more desirable appearance and quality.
